Revue
We have four different groups:
1. The Pre-Primary group : GR. 00 and GR. R
2. The Foundation phase group : GR. 1-3
3. The Junior Revue group : GR. 4-5
4. The Senior Revue group : GR. 6 and GR.7
Our groups are made up of girls as well as boys.
Revue is light theatrical entertainment consisting of songs and dance.
Onze Rust revue is a very popular activity to do at school. It provides the student the opportunity to showcase their talents, love for music and dance and their personalities on stage.
We are very privileged to have 2 excellent teachers per group to live out their passion and expertise in dance and music. Our Revue coordinator is a professional dancer and trainer with many years of experience.
Each year our Revue has a different theme, which helps us to think out of the box creatively to incorporate our theme into our song choices and choreography. The dancers enjoy each practice and performance as it provides them with a chance to express their feelings through movement.
We participate in many competitions mostly in the third term. But the highlight on our calendar is certainly the Sand du Plessis Revue and drummies festival which is held annually at the Sand du Plessis theatre. It provides the students an opportunity to dance on a real theatre stage in front of an audience of a 1000 people. It is where they shine the brightest and all their hard works on and off the stage shows.
We also take part in the yearly Rivista competition where our groups perform outstandingly well, averaging between 84 – 97% (A+ and A++).

Art lends itself to physical development and the enhancement of fine and gross motor skills.
We offer guidance and support in visual art classes. We are very proud to say our learners enjoy taking part in extra art classes and we take part in a number of competitions every year to show case the wonderful talents that our learners retain.

The school offers a very competitive Orators competition for the Senior Primary (GR. 4-7) learners. The learners are given the option to participate in English or Afrikaans.
Orators competitions are in different forms during the year. The first part the learners have the option of English or Afrikaans whereas in the second part of the year, they must do the orators in both languages.
At the end of the year the results of both competitions are combined to determine the best orator of the year in the different age groups.
First-term, GR. 7 learners are the speakers and from grade 4 to 6 serve as the audience.
The second term we have a bilingual orators competition. Orators speak in English and Afrikaans simultaneously.

The children perform on different occasions.

They practice every Tuesday from 14:00 – 15:00.
The learners are very enthusiastic about the singing of sacred songs and contemporary songs. They also take part in festivals and competitions.

We have a Worship session every second Wednesday during the second break for everyone to attend. In these sessions, we praise the Lord and we encourage fellowship.

Melodrama / Konsert
Daar word jaarliks ‘n melodrama/ konsert by die skool aangebied saam met die revue konsert.
Al die onderwysers neem entoesiasties deel en dit beloof gereeld om ‘n baie opwindende geleentheid te wees aangesien die onderwysers in komiese rolle op die verhoog verskyn.
Elke derde jaar kry die grondslagfase geleentheid om ‘n musiekblyspel op te voer. Die hele grondslagfase leerders word hierby betrek.
Rooi Rissies
Die rooi rissies is gestig om leerlinge wat minder bevoorreg is en wie se ouers meestal werkloos is, by die skool van ‘n ete te voorsien.
Daar is borge wat geldelik bydra om die projek te laat werk.
